Friday Fruit (02/28/14)

Dorothy Height
On Fridays, BTSF offers links to other discussions about race & Christianity. It's an opportunity for you to read about racial justice & Christianity from other perspectives, and for me to give props to the shoulders on which I stand...

Weekly Round Up:
These are some of BTSF's links of interest this week. What are yours?

Feel free to contribute your own links in the comments section, or submit items you feel should be included during the week. Self-promotion is encouraged.

    1. We need to learn about Asian, Latino, and Native American etc. It's all Americans that made contributions to this country.

    2. You are an idiot. You are creating racial enmity so that you can get fans. Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. said to judge people by the content of their character, not the color of their skin, and yet you still want to blame people for what their grandfathers did. Still somehow, people like you use cliches (that would be overused words) saying that blacks are convicted by more crimes. Some people say that blacks commit more crimes because of "societal injustices" and others say that it is because of prejudices in the justice system. Get over yourself. Welcome to 2014 and lets just stop pretending there is racism where there isn't. There are actual racists out there like the National Socialist Movement, Black Panther Party, and the Anti Defamation League. All of us that claim to not be racists could stop pointing our fingers at different colors an stop celebrating the color of our own skin and fight actual racists. Stop being a part of the problem!
